Player-Dealer Duel
The gameplay of 21 Duel Blackjack is launched and we see how it works: on all hands we selected with wagering on Ante or even on 2Up are dealt two cards. The main difference from ordinary variant of Blackjack is in presence of two opened communal cards and the fact, that one of your cards is opened and another is placed face down. The gameplay is built on completing the winning hand and we will show it on the example:
We placed one dollar chip on each Ante wager, thus we involved 3 Hands. Clicking on the deal we launched the gameplay and got the following opened cards on our hands: Jack, 9 and 10. The communal ones were two Aces.
After the dealing for each hand you can Fold or pick up Left/Right card from the communal ones. If you Fold, you finish playing 21 Duel Blackjack for hand automatically. However, we gathered good variants. Ace is counted as 1 point or 11 at the blackjack and faces cards are estimated in 10 points. Thus, we completed our hands with aces and got the following outcome – 21, 20 and 21.
For first and thirds hands, the second cards that remained face down were sent to discard pile, because we collected Blackjack.
However, for the second hand we were offered to Hit/Stand. Hit option reveals the second card, whilst Stand sends it to discard. We decided to Stand, because the risk to Bust (have more than 21 points and lose at once) was too high.
As for dealer’s cards in 21 Duel Blackjack, they are face down for you and he can complete it with any from the communal cards. His hand has to be 13 points and higher. The table with points score for dealer hands is shown at the Help section.
